Job Title: Games Director


Role Overview: The Games Director will be the strategic leader responsible for both
product direction and growth initiatives for a live game within the casual gaming division.
This role combines a keen focus on product development for existing games, from ideation to
the launch of new features and live ops, with a robust growth strategy to drive player
acquisition, retention, and engagement. Additionally, the Games Director will lead and
mentor the team, fostering collaboration and empowering them to deliver exceptional
results. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of casual gaming markets and
possess a blend of analytical acumen, creative vision, and experience in user acquisition,
engagement, and monetization.


Key Responsibilities:


● Define and guide the overall product vision, setting a roadmap that incorporates
innovative features and gameplay experiences.
● Take ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) for game projects, balancing creative
ambitions with financial accountability by setting budgetary guidelines, monitoring
revenue goals, and optimising resource allocation to achieve a profitable outcome
● Work closely with the UA team to develop and execute user acquisition and retention
strategies, leveraging performance marketing, optimization across key acquisition
channels, and App Store Optimization (ASO) tactics to enhance game discoverability
and drive sustainable growth while adapting to platform-specific guidelines and
market dynamics.
● Enhance monetisation by developing revenue-generating strategies, incorporating ad
placements, social elements, rewards, and other retention-boosting features.
● Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity, leveraging insights to refine
product offerings and identify strategic opportunities in casual gaming.
● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, aligning efforts across product,
marketing, and business strategies to achieve cohesive growth objectives, while reporting directly to the CXO to ensure strategic alignment with the company’s
vision.
● Build and mentor a high-performing team by fostering collaboration, providing
guidance, and empowering team members to excel in game design, production, and
growth initiatives.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Marketing, Business, or related fields;
Master’s preferred.
● 10+ years of experience in mobile gaming product management across the game
lifecycle, focusing on growth and user acquisition within a casual gaming context.
● Proven expertise in scaling successful game titles through innovative growth and
product strategies.
● Passion for casual gaming, with a deep understanding of user behaviour, engagement
strategies, and monetisation tactics.
Desirable:
● Proficiency in additional languages for international market engagement.
● Experience in working with MENA users.
● Familiarity with racing games.
