We offer two distinct service levels

Contingency and Retained

Contingency recruitment is our gold standard service offering. This is a risk free recruitment option. There is no charge for our services until a candidate has successfully started work with you.

Process –  

Our consultants will initially take a detailed account of your requirements and then use our knowledge of the games industry recruitment market to plan how best to source appropriate candidates for the roles.

We’ll advertise the roles across relevant channels and then identify potential candidates via the ad response, proactive database search and other networking activities.

Interested candidates will be screened for suitability and if appropriate submitted for consideration.    

If the candidate is selected for interview we’ll help with logistics and manage feedback accordingly.

We’re also here to help with offer presentation (including offer / salary negotiation) to help maximise the chances of a successful hire.

When taking the recruitment brief, we’ll focus on information gathering as follows: –

Studio Information – team size, company culture, remote working policies etc.

Project Information – target platforms, game genre, project size.

Role Requirements – required / desired skills, level of experience, salary range.

Giving us as much information as possible (subject to NDA / commercial confidentiality issues) helps us identify the right candidates and allows us to sell your opportunity to them as effectively as possible.

All candidates submitted will have been briefed on the role and studio and permission will have been gained for Crucible Recruitment to represent them.

Retained Search

Retained Search (Headhunting) is our Platinum service level.

In addition to the steps undertaken in our retained offering this service will include an individually tailored approach that is beneficial to successfully filling certain high level or extremely hard to fill roles.

The exact process will be discussed and agreed accordingly, but it is likely to include market mapping (identifying potential candidates potentially across the global games market), assessing their likelihood of interest and proactively approaching them.

Fees charged for this service would be split into three parts, one third on accepting the assignment, one third on presentation of a shortlist and the final third on offer acceptance.
